At Lighting Specialty Shop, we carefully design our lighting solutions to illuminate your spaces beautifully. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. Our returns policy is designed with the same attention to detail as our lighting collections.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received
  • All original tags and protective coverings must be intact
  • A proof of purchase or receipt is required

Note: For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on desk lamps and table lamps that show signs of use or have been removed from their original packaging.

Return Process

Follow these steps to return an item:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order to initiate a return.
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  3. Receive Instructions: We’ll email you return authorization and shipping instructions within 1-2 business days.
  4. Package & Ship: Securely package the item(s) with all original packaging and documentation. Include the return authorization form we provide.
  5. Ship Back: Send the package to our returns center at:

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days of arrival at our facility), we will process your refund:

  • Original Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Processing Time: Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchanges

We’re happy to exchange items for a different size or color, subject to availability. To request an exchange:

  1. Follow the same return process outlined above
  2. Clearly indicate in your email that you’d like an exchange and specify the replacement item
  3. We’ll process the exchange once we receive your return

If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.
